I bought the TrimFit Pro® Trim Router Table Plate for my DeWalt router on a whim as a hobbyist woodworker with a nicely equipped shop.. I knew I could use it, but wasn't sure how much I would use it AND wasn't sure if it would work where I would end up installing it... nor, if it was the great quality I expected. Well...
... it worked perfectly in every way! Install was easy and I decided to mount it on my oversized tablesaw table which has plenty of horizontal room. Since there was a 2.5" overlapping edge on the 3/4" plywood surface of this saw table, to mount it properly, and flush with the table, I had to cut out an inset area as my pics show - which was my plan from the start. That was even better as the router table sticks out from the table even less AND with the flush mount the table is a nice extension of the router platform.! Installation was easy using the baltic birch pieces that took the work out of cutting the braces. Predrilled holes and accompanying screws and faceplate bolts made it even easier. The thick acrylic surface is ideal and of great quality! I have used it 2-3 times now and it is a thing of beauty in both form and function! Bravo!!!

…. but I got a great head start with this kit. I wish i bought longer rails on amazon but its ok because I changed my design to allow the work piece to move in relation to the sled. I find the screws and hardware in this kit are good. All the drilled holes are proper. The plastic is thick and does not flex under a load. Everything bolted up without any “alterations” or workarounds. It just works like it’s supposed to. Not many things do these days and I appreciate the work that went into making this a plug and play thing.

I’m very impressed with the quality and design of the items I received. The layout of the acrylic plate is very compact overall. The hole spacing is big enough that there is ample room for my Bosch router with a 3D printed dust collection port, but the linear bearings set just inside the perimeter of the plate. This gives me maximum usable work area between the rails. I highly recommend this kit!

The topper fit very precisely, and the hardware and Baltic birch panel all worked out perfectly! I changed your box design slightly by adding a cutout front box support too. Love how it turned out!

Received my Essentials kit promptly, build was quick and easy, all pieces fit perfectly with my Bosch GKF125CE. Remaining pieces needed, bearings, rails and shafts were easily found and ordered on Amazon. The base made from 2 pieces of MDF, I found at my local Home Depot, they even cut to the exact size I needed. The best part I was able to make this to the size I wanted and I was able to do it for less that than those store bought sleds. Look no further this is definitely the best way to go if you are looking for a router sled, large or small! RECOMMEND A++++

Used this template on a large board and I love the look. The integrated handles kept the grain flow and I think make it easier to use

Great quality item. I wish the plate was bigger. 8x12” was a bit small. I would buy a bigger plate version if available. Maybe 32x24” would be nice.
