Build your own full-size router sled and finally flatten your slabs and reveal that beautiful grain. This sled kit is made specifically to mount your full-size router so you can tackle those large projects.
Every shop is different, that’s why we give you the flexibility to choose your own rods, rails, and bearings. We’ve linked below to recommended options:
When choosing the length of your rails and rods, make sure to add 4 inches to each end of your true cut capacity. As an example, if you’d like to flatten boards that are 24”x 12”, purchase rails that are 32 inches long and rods that are 20 inches long. This will allow your sled to slide the extra 4 inches needed on all ends. This is assuming a 1-1/4” diameter cutterhead.
