Full-Size Router Sled Kit

Great product. Exactly as described, shipped quickly.

Have yet to use the jig, but the fit and finish is excellent. My only complaint was with the assembly. Had to assemble/disassemble several times as I couldn’t get the router base mounting holes to line up correctly. Finally figured out that the logo engraving was on the wrong side of the mounting plate. Once I flipped in over the assembly 2as easy. I also built a 3/4” frame with a 3/8” groove out of hardwood around the base to mount a debris skirt. Can’t wait to give this its maiden run..

We were making a dining room table (9’ long x 38” wide x 6” thick) with a significant twist. We needed to find a way to flatten it. We were going to build our own router sled out of wood and we found your product! Not only was it a game changer for this project but it will be used for many years to come. It was simple to set up and we added more rails for an overall length of nine feet.

This setup was as easy as can be, everything fit great - with the exception of the base plate with a plunge base for my Dewalt Router - all i had to do was drill a few new holes and I was off....I plan to this this set up for more than just flattening. I make multi depth signs, and trying to control depth is trying with keeping the base plate flat on the work piece when most of it was cut away....Hope that makes sense.....Since these pics were taken I added casters to the legs. I will be drilling a few rows of 3/4" holes every 100mm along the sides, as well as thru the spacer MDF board which I use for 3/4 - 1" work pieces and it allows me to use this as a multi level sign making tool! It is a different feel for sure when getting into details, however the rails run great - so smooth!

The toughest part was drilling the blank plate to suit my router. 10/10 would purchase again.

Absolutely top notch kit. Router fits perfectly. Slides smoothly. Assembly was easy and straight forward. The best diy router sled kit on the market. Save yourself many hundreds of dollars and forget about an inconsistent wooden slay. You’ll be happy you got this. Flattening my first 24” x 19” x 2.5” live edge river table was easiest using this kit.

…. but I got a great head start with this kit. I wish i bought longer rails on amazon but its ok because I changed my design to allow the work piece to move in relation to the sled. I find the screws and hardware in this kit are good. All the drilled holes are proper. The plastic is thick and does not flex under a load. Everything bolted up without any “alterations” or workarounds. It just works like it’s supposed to. Not many things do these days and I appreciate the work that went into making this a plug and play thing.

I’m very impressed with the quality and design of the items I received. The layout of the acrylic plate is very compact overall. The hole spacing is big enough that there is ample room for my Bosch router with a 3D printed dust collection port, but the linear bearings set just inside the perimeter of the plate. This gives me maximum usable work area between the rails. I highly recommend this kit!

The flattening jig came as advertised no missing parts. I used your YouTube video for assembly which made the assembly process seamless. I drilled my own holes for an off brand router everything came out great.

I am new to wood working and after lots of researching i decided the most versatile way to do things without a large investment was a sled. I picked WJ because of the option to just buy what i need and build what i need with the parts they recommend! It made it affordable and easier than others to build something specific for my size. The packaging was great and i appreciated the personal wrapping not just stuff tossed in a box. I will be a returning customer.

Very nice kit. Took some time to install, primarily due to I needed to drill my own blank plate. The rest is simple of you follow the video.

I bought this router sled to flatten a work bench top. It is pretty easy to setup, and saves you a lot of pain trying to bench plane big pieces of wood. This is my hobby so to get this table top flattened with the hand planer would have taken me a good amount of time. With the router sled it took me about an hour. Once you get the sled parts, it will take you about 45 minutes or less to put the sled together. If you want to save time and muscle pain, I highly recommend this router sled.

Fits perfectly, well made product. Matched up correctly with my Vevor rails.

Puchased for a Dewalt618. Everything fit perfect. Well made and shipped fast.

A little pricey for what it is but having made my own before this is a huge time saver and worth having everything drilled perfectly. Only issue I had was some of the screws were too long for my vevor set but not the sellers fault.

Very easy and quick to assemble. Slides super smooth and is much much better than using my home version built out of wood. Using the acrylic pieces to align rods is brilliant. I used 48 inch rods and didn’t get any flex. Flattened three large end grain cutting boards and was really happy with results. If you could come up with a way to adjust the height it would be 5 stars
