Description
The elongated Single Grip sub-base plate provides greater control with a 4-inch handle to really get a grip on your compact router. It's the ideal base plate for edge profiling, flush trimming and is a great option for most of your general routing tasks.
Designed for Ridgid (R2401, R860443B, R860444B) and Ryobi (PBLRR01, PCL424B, P601) routers.
Our Guide Bushing Base Plate is designed for use with Porter-Cable-style brass guide bushings and inlay kits, enabling accurate template routing.
The center opening measures 1.2 inches, accommodating router bits with a maximum diameter of 1 inch.
Our Wide Cut Base Plate is designed for increased cutting capacity, featuring a larger center opening for use with wider router bits.
The center opening measures 1.75 inches, accommodating router bits with a maximum diameter of 1.5 inches.
This base plate is not compatible with guide bushings.

For Makita/Milwaukee Router Base Plates: Mounting holes are not symmetrical and will only align in one orientation. Rotate the sub base plate until it aligns perfectly.

What's the difference between the Guide Bushing Base Plate vs Wide Cut Base Plate?
If you plan to do template or inlay work with guide bushings, the Guide Bushing Base Plate is what you need.
If you want a wider opening for larger bits and more general cutting, the Wide Cut Base Plate is ideal.
Guide Bushing Base Plate:

If your make and model isn't listed, choose the Single Grip Blank Router Base Plate and drill your own mounting holes to fit your specific router. Ideal for Bauer, Craftsman, Skil, Hart, Kobalt, and other routers.
Do the Single Grip Router Base Plates come with pre-drilled mounting holes?
Yes, the brand-specific Single Grip Router Base Plates come with pre-drilled holes ready to go. No more fumbling through dozens of universal hole patterns.
Do the Single Grip Router Base Plate need a centering cone when installing?
You typically do not need a centering cone when installing a Single Grip Router Base Plate.
Our plates are precision-designed to align with your router’s factory mounting holes, so as long as you install it evenly and snug down the screws, you’ll be properly centered for most applications.
That said, if you want absolute precision (especially for things like guide bushings or very tight tolerance work), using a centering cone can help fine-tune alignment.

This base plate fit my brushless ryobi router perfectly! High quality & very well made! There's simply no comparison to the stock base plate vs this wide cut base plate. This elevated my routing leaps and bounds. This base provides so much stability & it just feels like it's gliding in & out corners so effortlessly now! Accessing the dust port is more trouble than it's worth, & honestly it's easier to maneuver freely with no restrictions without the hose attached, so I'm loving it! I'm so looking forward to trying the other styled bases! This wide base has been pure perfection on my edges and flush trim bits. You do have to get used to the larger base, but that really just involves making sure your larger base has enough room to be properly supported. The projects I've been using it on have all been larger slabs, so it really wasn't an issue. I'm pretty new to all this so any tool that actually levels up my work is an absolute game changer for me! Even if you're a pro or have been routing for years, I think you'll still enjoy how effortlessly this larger base makes routing.

This makes using a small trim router so much easier. It's well built and inexpensive!
Not new to router base plates. Have even made my own from stock sheets of Lexan for my larger routers. Did this because I didn't want to bother making one for the smaller Trim Router. THIS IS PERFECT! Absolutely rigid with the correct thickness. My only issue was easily solved by placing one of those "multi-pronged type" lock washer between the acrylic base and handle. Snugged up handle perfectly.
