Description
The elongated Single Grip sub-base plate provides greater control with a 4-inch handle to really get a grip on your compact router. It's the ideal base plate for edge profiling, flush trimming and is a great option for most of your general routing tasks.
Designed for Bosch Colt corded routers (PR20EVS and GKF125CE). The mounting holes are conveniently marked with PR and GKF so you can match it to your compact router.
Our Guide Bushing Base Plate is designed for use with Porter-Cable-style brass guide bushings and inlay kits, enabling accurate template routing.
The center opening measures 1.2 inches, accommodating router bits with a maximum diameter of 1 inch.
Our Wide Cut Base Plate is designed for increased cutting capacity, featuring a larger center opening for use with wider router bits.
The center opening measures 1.75 inches, accommodating router bits with a maximum diameter of 1.5 inches.
This base plate is not compatible with guide bushings.

For Makita/Milwaukee Router Base Plates: Mounting holes are not symmetrical and will only align in one orientation. Rotate the sub base plate until it aligns perfectly.

What's the difference between the Guide Bushing Base Plate vs Wide Cut Base Plate?
If you plan to do template or inlay work with guide bushings, the Guide Bushing Base Plate is what you need.
If you want a wider opening for larger bits and more general cutting, the Wide Cut Base Plate is ideal.
Guide Bushing Base Plate:
- Designed for use with Porter-Cable-style brass guide bushings and inlay kits.

If your make and model isn't listed, choose the Single Grip Blank Router Base Plate and drill your own mounting holes to fit your specific router. Ideal for Bauer, Craftsman, Skil, Hart, Kobalt, and other routers.

Yes, the brand-specific Single Grip Router Base Plates come with pre-drilled holes ready to go. No more fumbling through dozens of universal hole patterns.
Do the Single Grip Router Base Plate need a centering cone when installing?
You typically do not need a centering cone when installing a Single Grip Router Base Plate.
Our plates are precision-designed to align with your router’s factory mounting holes, so as long as you install it evenly and snug down the screws, you’ll be properly centered for most applications.
That said, if you want absolute precision (especially for things like guide bushings or very tight tolerance work), using a centering cone can help fine-tune alignment.

This wider baseplate is a game-changer. I thought about making one myself but considering the cost of thicker plexiglass/acrylic, then having to cut, pattern-route to a nice shape, and add a handle, it was much easier to buy this and move on. Great quality and vastly decreases the pucker factor when edge-routing expensive lumber.
Had an off-brand palm router, asked if I could order a single grip base without the mounting holes. WGJ kindly accommodated my request. Again, another perfect item and fast transaction.

Fantastic purchase. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a Kobalt 24V Battery powered router. The stability that this has added is fantastic. I have used both attachments multiple times now while building my daughter's pedal plane. Worth every penny and make for much cleaner and more consistent cuts then the stock OEM router base does. Spend the money and do not look back.
You may find your self swapping basses a few times dependent on what you are making, but the swaps are easy and straight forward. I have ONLY used a #2 Philips hand held screw driver and it has worked perfect every time. I have continued to use the STOCK OEM screws, as they mesh with the bevels perfect.
You will not regret this purchase.

This base was easy to attach to by Bosch Colt router. The base is well made and substantial. I have used it on a project requiring both pattern routing and edge routing on both oak and pine stock. It was a big improvement over the stock plate in regard to quality of cut and more importantly in stability and safety during routing.

Balance my router really nice
Unboxed and used right away to trim a large Formica table I made as an outfeed for my table saw, planer etc. Being able to see what I was doing, along with the stability this product offered was extremely helpful in making a daunting job (a least for me) perfectly done! Thanks!
I had a hard time finding a good base plate for my battery Kobalt router. Every "universal" plate I tried didn't have the right hole pattern for it, but these ones are perfect! And since they're not "universal", there aren't a bunch of extra swiss cheese holes collecting dust. These plates are a fantastic upgrade over the tiny one that comes with the router and are a joy to use
