Well made, precision holes. Please consider making a the base plate with slots around the perimeter, like the 'samarai' base plate of Marius Hornberger. This will really make the baseplate useful.

I was on the fence a about purchasing this base plate. But when I melted the factory plate on my dewalt plunge, I decided to give it a go. Turns out, this is a much better option and I'm very happy with the purchase. The fitment is perfect and im enjoying much more stable routing. Shipping was fast and I would recommend.

Great quality & heavy duty!
Fits perfectly on the Dewalt DNP612 - compact plunge base. They make them nice and thick (3/8") which makes them rigid. No flexing. Rides smooth and kept me out of the hole :) Makes me want to get another plunge base so I can just keep the large base plate permanently attached.

This was a gift for my husband. I am a wife that does my best to research items I purchase. This was totally confusing if you are not familiar with the wordage. I was expecting the base and what goes around router, because that is what was in the picture and I thought in the wording. I will be more questionable in buying tools. I do plan to return due to not what I thought I was ordering.
