This Blank 6 inch Round router base plate gives you the flexibility to mount any router that will fit within its 6 inch diameter. It offers all the same great benefits our brand-specific base plates do--made of 3/8" cast acrylic and compatible with standard (Porter Cable Style) brass guide bushings.
We realize some sub base plates are oddly shaped or small which can be difficult to use as a reference point if you're cutting juice grooves on your cutting boards. A small base plate can also tilt especially with cordless routers that are top-heavy due to their large battery packs. Having a perfect 6 inch round means you don't have to worry about pivoting the router as you ride it along your jig's fence. It also provides more surface to keep your router from tilting while making your cuts.
