NOW compatible with standard brass guide bushings.

These router base plates fit the Kobalt KR 124B-03 fixed router base and is made from 3/8” thick cast acrylic. The original sub base plate is oddly shaped which can be difficult to use as a reference point if you're cutting juice grooves on your cutting boards. The original is also smaller which can make is difficult to keep from tilting.

6" Round

Having a full 6 inch circle means you don't have to worry about pivoting the router as you ride it along your jig's fence. It also provides more surface to keep your router from tilting while making your cuts. I've also laser cut the original vent grooves to provide maximum dust extraction when attached to your dust collection system.

6x9" Single Grip

The elongated sub base plate provides maximum surface for more stable routing. It's the ideal base plate for cutting chamfers and round overs along your work pieces and has a 4 inch handle for a more secure grip. This plate is also laser cut with the original vent grooves to provide maximum dust extraction when attached to your dust collection system.

Note:

  1. Guide bushings NOT included.

  2. Mounting holes are not symmetrical and will only align in one orientation. Rotate the sub base plate until it aligns perfectly.

  3. Includes four replacement pan head screws to accommodate this base plate.

Fantastic purchase. I would highly recomm...

Fantastic purchase. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a Kobalt 24V Battery powered router. The stability that this has added is fantastic. I have used both attachments multiple times now while building my daughter's pedal plane. Worth every penny and make for much cleaner and more consistent cuts then the stock OEM router base does. Spend the money and do not look back.

You may find your self swapping basses a few times dependent on what you are making, but the swaps are easy and straight forward. I have ONLY used a #2 Philips hand held screw driver and it has worked perfect every time. I have continued to use the STOCK OEM screws, as they mesh with the bevels perfect.

You will not regret this purchase.

Enjoy,

The Captain
