I would give 4.9 stars if I could. Why not 5? The router can only be mounted to the baseplate in one orientation. With the dust collection shroud installed and the dust hose attached (which I prefer to use), the router can be comfortably held with the grip handle in my left hand and the router and/or base plate in my right. However, I prefer holding the grip handle with my right hand and the router base with my left, which is possible but awkward with the dust shroud and hose in place. Without the dust shroud attached, you can grab the handle with either hand. I understand not wanting to make the baseplate look like Swiss cheese, and I know that handle preference is personal. In hindsight, I would have purchased the dual-handle baseplate. Personal preferences aside, if you don’t care which hand you hold the router and handle or the position of the dust shroud, you’ll likely be pleased. The materials and machining are high quality. I’ll use the router grip with my left hand and hope to grow accustomed to that method.
