This classic Round sub-base plate is ideal for general routing tasks like edge profiling, cutting juice grooves and offers superior stability with the large 6 inch diameter surface to keep your router from tilting.

This router sub-base plate is brand-specific and will fit Bosch Colt corded routers (PR20EVS and GKF125CE). The mounting holes are conveniently marked with PR or GKF so you can match it to your compact router.

Note:

  1. Guide bushings NOT included.
  2. Mounting holes are not symmetrical and will only align in one orientation. Rotate the sub base plate until it aligns perfectly.

Little Bosch cordless needs this base

I absolutely love my little Bosch cordless router, but the base plate that comes with it is very small and difficult to keep square to the work piece. This solves that issue. This base makes the router so much more stable and it feels a little safer not having my fingers so close to the blade, and I have better control over the router. I am delighted to find that there is a slot cut in the base that still allows you to attach the Bosch dust collection attachments with this base attached and maintain the excellent dust collection of this router. You lose nothing (except maybe 1/4" of depth) over the original base plate and gain a lot of stability. For woodworking projects where more precision is desired a base plate like this is essential.
