NOW compatible with standard brass guide bushings.

This router sub base plate measures 6x10 inches and fits the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 2723-20 fixed router base. It is made from 3/8” cast acrylic and includes two 4 inch handles to really help stabilize and control your router as you cut inlays. They are removable so you can use the base plate with one handle, both handles, or remove both. You can choose the configuration that fits your routing needs.

The mounting holes are also rotated so the optional dust chute does not interfere with the handle.

Note:

  1. Guide bushings NOT included.

  2. Mounting holes are not symmetrical and will only align in one orientation. Rotate the sub base plate until it aligns perfectly.

Nice Product - I Made Two Modifications

Overall I like the product a lot. I like the fact that it is of clear plastic so you can see what you are doing. Some competitor's products cannot be viewed through, a distinct disadvantage.

I also like the size of the product. Nice and large base so accurate routs can easily be accomplished.

I did not like the handles - I much prefer knobs. So I purchased a competitor's product that uses knobs and changed the handles out for those knobs. An expensive way to go (I could not find that exact knob anywhere else) - but I like the end result. I feel I can operate the router a lot better with these knobs. I am sure everyone has their own best-liked way of doing this.

One other thing. The hole in the base was too small to allow me to use one of my larger router bits, and I don't use guide bushings. I asked how to enlarge the hole and never got a response (maybe they have a liability concern, I don't know). I enlarged the hole (slightly) using a Forstner bit in a drill press, with the base plate clamped firmly to the drill press base. Worked perfectly.

The router base is well made of quality materials. It worked very well for my project which required a wider base to maintain stability. The two handles allow for better control of the router.

High quality. Thick acrylic, better than competitors. Hardware is stainless steel. This is an excellent base. Glad I bought it.
